Inter-House Bengali Elocution Competition Celebrates the Spirit of Patriotism

The Inter-House Bengali Elocution Competition of P. B. Academic School was held on *8th July 2026, bringing together the students' eloquence, creativity, and patriotic fervour. The theme for this year's competition was *"Patriotism"**, inspiring each house to present a thought-provoking dramatic elocution based on significant events and personalities from India's history.

The participants captivated the audience with powerful performances depicting episodes such as the *Jallianwala Bagh Massacre, **Anandamath*, and other inspiring chapters from India's struggle for freedom. Every house displayed remarkable confidence, expression, and teamwork, making the competition both engaging and meaningful.

Among the highlights of the event was *Teresa House, which presented the **Indigo Revolution* through a compelling performance enhanced by stunning visual effects and impactful narration. Their presentation was widely appreciated for its creativity and historical depth.

After an impressive display of talent by all the houses, *Gandhi House* emerged as the winner with its inspiring presentation on *Modern India and the duties of its citizens*. The performance beautifully connected the sacrifices of the past with the responsibilities of the present generation, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.

The competition was judged by *Ms Paromita PRAMANICK, a passionate content creator, **Ms Anindita Bose, a distinguished poet and author, and the Principal of the school, **Mrs Madhuparna Andrews*. The judges commended the participants for their exceptional oratory skills, stage presence, and thoughtful interpretation of the theme. In her concluding address, Mrs Andrews announced the winners and applauded every participant for their dedication, hard work, and patriotic spirit, making the event a memorable celebration of language, literature, and love for the nation.
